Seniors are the backbone of our communities. This demographic offers a wealth of knowledge, experience, networking opportunities, volunteer time & extra eyes that keep our neighborhoods safe. These are our parents and grandparents.
Communities benefit from a wide range of ages but physical limitations can make it challenging for seniors to stay in their homes. Moving to a care facility is a confusing & emotional decision for families - not to mention very costly - and happening at a time in life when seniors thrive most on comfort & familiarity. Home in our later years should be the place we love, not a compromise or a downgrade. We all deserve this so if it might be possible to stay, why not explore it?

When the cost of design coaching is a hurdle Theory Home Design will happily assist seniors with Aging in Place strategies at no cost. We extend the same offer to individuals managing a disability. If staying is an option we can consider ways to create comfortable accommodations for visiting family members or live-in caregivers. Not only will the home be safer & more accessible, areas no longer needed can be transformed into attractive, extended-stay quarters that increase later resale value.
